JOHN RANDOLPH MEDICAL CENTER HOSTS FREE LUPUS SEMINAR
(HOPEWELL, VA) November 13, 2007 Lupus, a chronic inflammatory auto-immune disorder that affects nine times as many women as men, can affect many parts of the body. Joint pain is a common symptom, and in many instances it can develop into arthritis.
Learn about how to manage this disease in a free seminar on Friday, November 30 at John Randolph Medical Center. The seminar will feature Candace Baptiste, a lupus survivor and activist, sharing her personal journey. It will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the hospitals basement classroom and lunch will be provided.
